PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is the injection of plasma obtained from your own blood into the region where the hair follicles are. The growth factors it contains stimulate the follicles.
The application takes 30-45 minutes and is usually planned in 3-4 sessions. It is also used to speed up healing after a hair transplant — the first PRP session is included in our all-inclusive packages.
PRP extends the life of existing follicles and strengthens the hair; it does not bring back lost follicles. In advanced hair loss it is not sufficient on its own and is planned together with a hair transplant.
