Healing after a hair transplant varies from person to person, but the general timeline is as follows.
First 3 days: Redness and slight swelling in the transplanted area are normal. Sleeping with the head elevated is recommended.
Week 1: Crusts form and start to shed. The first wash is done at our clinic; afterwards you continue at home in the way we describe to you.
Weeks 2-3: The crusts shed completely and the donor area closes. Shock loss may begin in this period — it is normal for the transplanted hairs to fall while the follicles remain, and it is not a cause for concern.
Months 3-4: New growth begins. The final appearance emerges in the 12th month. Throughout this time checks and support are covered by lifetime follow-up.
Take one minute; our doctor will send you the suitable technique, the estimated graft count and the process in writing.
